Thank you for ordering from Tamali UK! We are committed to delivering delicious, freshly prepared tamales to your door. Please read our return and refund policy, which complies with consumer rights under the laws of England and Wales.


Perishable Goods

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, the right to cancel an order within 14 days does not apply to perishable goods. As our tamales are made to order and perishable, we do not accept returns for change of mind.


Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your tamales arrive damaged, spoiled, or if you receive the wrong items, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery at sales@tamal.co.uk. We will ask for:

  • Photographic evidence of the item(s) and packaging

  • A brief description of the issue

  • Your order number

If we determine the fault lies with us, we will offer a replacement or refund, in line with your statutory rights.


Delivery Issues

We use reliable courier services with chilled packaging to ensure safe delivery. However, we are not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Incorrect or incomplete delivery addresses provided by the customer

  • Courier disruptions (e.g., weather, strikes)

If a delivery failure is due to our error, we will investigate and offer a resolution accordingly.


Cancellations

You may cancel your order within 1 hour of placing it by emailing us at [email]. After that, we begin preparing your tamales and cancellations may no longer be possible.


Your Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If the goods are not as described, not of satisfactory quality, or not fit for purpose, you may be entitled to a refund, replacement, or repair.
