Heating instructions:

Steaming (preferable)

1. Add water making sure the water to a steamer or rice cooker

2. Place the tamales.

For frozen tamales: cover and steam for 20-25 minutes.

For thawed tamales: cover and steam for 10-15 minutes.

Microwave -from frozen-.

1. Put the tamales in a microwaveable container.

2. Heat them for three minutes (or until defrosted).

3. Heat them for another 1 or 2 minutes

Microwave -thawed-.

1. Put the tamales in a microwaveable container.

2. Heat them for 2 minutes.

Note: When using a microwave it is advisable to utilise a container where they can be placed on top, leaving a space below to add some water and prevent them from drying.
