Heating instructions:

Steamer (preferable)

1.Fill the steamer with water making sure the water doesn’t touch the bottom of the steaming basket.

2. Place the tamales on the basket.

For frozen tamales: cover and steam for 25-30 minutes.

For thawed tamales: cover and steam for 10-15 minutes.

Microwave -from frozen-.

1. Wrap each tamal in a damp paper towel and put in a microwaveable container. Cover them with a bowl or splatter guard.

2. Heat them in low power for about three minutes (or until defrosted).

3. Flip and heat them for another minute .

Microwave -thawed-.

2. Heat them for 1 – 1 1/2 minutes.
