Mole comes from the Nahuatl “molli” meaning sauce and it has an average of 20 ingredients including nuts, peanuts, pine nuts, sesame seed, pumpkin and/or squash seeds, cilantro, seedless grapes, plantains, garlic, onion, cinnamon, chocolate and more, and always including two or more of the following chili types: ancho, pasilla, mulato and chipotle.
Not simple but delicious recipe, the wrap is made around this amazing suace, then wrapped in a Corn Husk and steamed for around 2 hours. We then vacuum seal them and freeze ready for dispatch.
